The community is actively promoting the quality of early childhood education in Singapore. It is indeed an arduous task and kudos to all those out there who take up this challenge.

The Ministry of Community Youth and Sports (MCYS) takes care of the child care centers, while the Ministry of Education (MOE) takes charge of kindergartens. Special Needs organizations are supported by National Council of Social Services (NCSS). Apart from the governing bodies, the Association of Early Childhood Educators Singapore (AECES) plays an important role in giving support to the early childhood educators in the country.

We hope to join in to contribute our part for the community and we hope that you could share your feedback to help preschools improve on their services.

The vision of the Singapore Preschool Zone is to position itself as an independent and non-governmental group committed to contribute its bit to improve the quality of early childhood education in Singapore.

The goals of the Singapore Preschool Zone are:

1. To provide early childhood educators with easy access and reach to resources

2. To facilitate parents on making informed choices in early childhood services and products

3. To assist early childhood centres advance towards information technology
